Overview
Docube, with a focused team of only 18–20 dedicated members, a small yet ambitious healthcare startup is redefining private clinics by providing modernized solutions to elevate both clinic operations and patient care. Despite its lean team, the company is a powerhouse in the outpatient care space, merging medical excellence with accessibility to streamline the healthcare experience for both providers and patients.
The company is driven by core values of compassionate care, medical excellence, and ethical practices, and is also committed to maintaining the highest standards. With a mission to develop sustainable outpatient care centers across the country, the company is on an upward journey and is dedicated to upscale the business to extend its operations across the state. The company’s vision is to create a healthcare system that uplifts community health outcomes, despite its compact team size.
Challenges
The startup’s recruitment journey wasn’t without its hurdles, starting with limited resources. With a tiny HR team, handling the recruitment for specialized roles posed a significant workload, especially in a scaling phase where each new hire impacted daily operations. On top of that, the specialized nature of these roles meant that finding candidates who met strict technical and regulatory requirements was no simple task.
Each role from Pharmacist to Radiologist, required healthcare-specific skills, making every stage of recruitment crucial. Cost constraints placed an additional burden on recruitment efforts, necessitating a strategy that could achieve high-quality results without overextending the budget.
Strategy
To tackle the unique hiring challenges of the company we offered them a Curated Plan Reach (CPR) strategy which was a multi-faceted approach designed to balance budget limitations with the need for expert-led recruitment solutions.
Knowing that healthcare roles require rigorous vetting, Redrob enlisted healthcare-specific consultants to support the recruitment process. These consultants brought a deep understanding of the technical and regulatory demands of the roles, ensuring that only the most qualified candidates advanced. Our decision to involve experts who understood the specifics of positions like pharmacists and radiologists ensured that the startup could confidently select individuals with the right expertise.
In an effort to control costs, we helped the startup bypass traditional recruitment agencies and instead turned to niche job boards through our advanced Job Posting feature and healthcare-focused freelance consultants. This targeted approach minimized recruitment expenses while putting job postings directly in front of candidates already experienced in healthcare roles. The result was a more streamlined sourcing process that aligned with the startup’s budget and brought in a higher volume of relevant applicants from the start.
Each role also had a tailored set of assessments designed to evaluate the specific technical and regulatory expertise required. This strategy allowed the small HR team to narrow their focus to only the most qualified applicants, saving both time and effort by concentrating on candidates who already met critical hiring criteria.
Recognizing that recruitment needs would likely recur each year, we also created an ongoing candidate pipeline to maintain a steady stream of potential hires for high-demand roles. This proactive approach ensured that future hiring could be accomplished more quickly and efficiently, setting the company up for smoother onboarding as it continued to grow.
